This years Beers:
Making an appearance for the first time at the LS6 Beer Festival we have:
Gorlovka – Acorn Brewery, Barnsley (6.0%)
A dark, imperial Russian stout. Deep and roasted malts with a hint of chocolate. Predominant flavours are: rich, roasted malts, little bits of dried fruits and vanilla chocolate, with a dry, malty finish that leaves a lovely smoky bitterness at the end.
SPA Francorchamps – Burley Street Brewhouse, Burley, Leeds (3.8%)
Made with high quantities of Styrian Goldings and American Cascade hops. This pale crisp session beer has a refreshing lemon citrus aroma and flavour.
Ginger Bear - Beartown Brewery, Congleton (4.0%)
The flavours from the malt and hops blend with the added bite from the root ginger to produce a superbly quenching blonde ale.
1872 Porter – Elland Brewery, Leeds (6.5%)

Black Summit – Ilkley Brewery, Ilkley (5.0%)
A dark India Pale Ale, it just doesn’t sound right, but this beer is made with pale malts in the IPA style with just a bit of black and chocolate malts and roasted barley to darken the colour and introduce a roundness to the body. Lots of Summit and cascade hops produce a complex mix off flavours including mango, grapefruit and all round citrus.

A refreshing blonde ale infused with the delicate flavour of elderflower.
Laguna Seca – Burley Street Brewhouse, Burley, Leeds (4.0%)

It would be very helpful if breweries would mention if they have wheat in their beers. I LOVE beer, but am never sure of what I can drink. Please let me know.
Cheers!
