Welcome to the site for the LS6 Beer Festival, a festival of real ale and music in Hyde Park, Leeds.
The first LS6 Beer Festival took place on 24th April 2010 at the lovely Left Bank Leeds on Cardigan Road. It was a fantastic success selling out of tickets soon after doors opened and unfortunately having to turn a lot of people away.
So this year we have decided to come back bigger and better with 4-sessions over the two day event taking place on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June 2011.
We’ll be updating this website with more information and about the bands and beers on offer, so keep checking back, or like our facebook page / follow us on twitter for the latest news.
All proceeds from all that lovely beer that you’ll be drinking on the day will go to Village-to-Village, a small charity based in West Yorkshire who work to alleviate poverty in Africa, supporting community projects in Tanzania and Uganda.
Feel free to get in touch with any queries or suggestions on ls6beerfestival [at] googlemail.com

Are tickets only available on-line or can you pay at the door?
We will be reserving some tickets for sale on the door – but we’d recommend you book online to guarantee entry.
I just registared and tried to buy tickets (6) and it said sold out contact the venue. Can I still buy 6 tickets?
Hi, thanks for the message, we notice that you’ve now managed to buy some tickets, it must have been a temporary glitch in the ticketing system. We still have some advance tickets left available and they’re on sale until 17:00 today, or until they sell out.
What time do the doors open / close?
Do you have a price list available for the beers?
It’s just round the corner from me, we all like beer, so I think we’ll be there
Hi Nick.
Doors open at 12pm and the event will go on all day until 23:30.
All barrelled beers will be sold at £2.50 a pint, and £1.25 for a half. We will have some other items on sale which will be priced differently, but the core beers will all be at this price.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Cheers,
Oli

This may be a daft question but is this a family event or are children unable to attend??
Hi Sarah, thanks for your message and it’s certainly not a daft question. Children are welcome assuming of course that they’re accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, due to restrictions on capacity we can’t allow children in for free as they will still contribute to our capacity limit. Also, later in the evening, it may become a little hectic for the kids, so might be worth bearing in mind if you’re planning on bringing any; during the afternoon however, I’m sure they’d be fine to come along.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Oli
Hello!
Will it be possible to buy tickets on the door?
Thanks!
Josh
Hi Josh,
Thanks for your message. We expect that there should be some tickets left available to buy on the door, but we recommend buying them in advance wherever possible to avoid disappointment.
Cheers,
Oli
I didn’t buy an advance ticket in time, will it be possible to come along and buy one when the festival opens, and then come back later?
Hi Vicki,
That should be fine – just make sure you get a stamp when you pay earlier in the day and let us know that’s what you’re doing. Doors open at 12pm – see you then!
Rachel
hin coming up from suffolk , are there any tickets left?
Hi Graham,
Indeed, there are tickets left. You can purchase them by following the link on the tickets page. We strongly recommend getting your tickets in advance as last year we sold out within 30 minutes of opening. We look forward to seeing you there
Cheers,
Oli
Hi Oli,
I went on the ticket sale page but i can’t see an option to buy a weekend ticket, are they sold out? also is there a CAMRA discount?
Thank you very much for your time.
Tom
Hi Tom,
There are still all weekend tickets left so do not fear! All you need to do when you go through to the digyorkshire.com ‘buy tickets page’ is click on either Friday 12.00-23.30 or Saturday 12.00-23.00 and it should be the first option that comes up in the drop box below. Unfortunately there was no way to make it easier. There is only a CAMRA discount for the Friday afternoon session so this does not apply to all weekend tickets, sorry.
